Two Bulgarian Students Are Going to MIT Summer Academy

Each year, America for Bulgaria Foundation supports two bright Bulgarian students to participate in MIT’s international summer school RSI. Eighty of the most talented students from all over the world gather in Boston for a six-week summer school with intensive training in engineering and natural science.

We are happy to announce the winning eleventh grade students for the 2017 Research Science Institute: Ivan Ivanov, a graduate of the American College – Sofia and longtime competitor of Informatics, and Tanya Otsetarov, participant in the Bulgarian Harvard Club and a student in “Acad. Kiril Popov” maths high school in Plovdiv. The runners-up are Vassilen Tsvetkov and Asel Ismoldaeva both from the Dr. Petar Beron math highschool in Varna. The jury is comprised of scientists from the Bulgarian Science Academy as well as professors from leading universities.

We are very happy for them and wish them a bright future!
