The Requests for Proposals are part of the new Next 10 program in support of ideas that matter in the next ten years in Bulgaria
The America for Bulgaria Foundation is launching its new program The Next 10: Supporting Ideas that Matter in the Next Ten Years with four Requests for Proposals for funding projects worth 1 million levs. The aim of the Next 10 program is to support project proposals of Bulgarian organizations and associations for strengthening the private sector and democratic institutions in the country.
The approved projects will receive funding between 5,000 and 75,000 levs. The RFPs under this program cover the four areas of work of the Foundation and are open to candidates from all over the country.
Applications should be submitted by 5pm on October 25, 2020, via the respective webpages below.
Good Governance at the Local Level. With this RFP, the America for Bulgaria Foundation will fund project proposals that increase accountability in the spending of public funds and increase transparency in the work of public institutions at the district or municipality level. Science with a Future. With this RFP, ABF will finance project proposals of young innovators in the fields of natural sciences, healthcare, agriculture, and veterinary medicine. The ideas must be application-oriented, focus on existing problems, and have the potential for implementation. Online Learning. With this RFP, ABF will fund project proposals that will contribute to finding, developing and testing interactive and adaptive methodologies for teaching in an electronic environment. The focus of the RFP is school education. For more details: https://us4bg.org/bg/rfp-hum/.
Tourism Along the Danube. With this RFP, ABF will fund project proposals that will contribute to the development of the Danube region as an attractive tourist destination with active and vibrant local communities. For more details: https://us4bg.org/bg/rfp-tur/.
